ROG Intelligent Cooling
The SCAR 17 utilizes Thermal Grizzly’s Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on both the CPU and GPU. An ultra-high performance thermal interface material, Conductonaut Extreme can keep these components up to 15°C cooler than traditional thermal pastes. When paired with a custom vapor chamber and four dedicated exhaust vents, this thermal solution transfers heat out of the system efficiently.

ROG Intelligent Cooling technology allows critical components like the CPU and GPU to maintain higher boost frequencies for longer periods of time, keeping your frame rates smooth and steady even during extended gaming sessions. The SCAR 17 keeps the noise down too. When in Performance mode, the system does not exceed 40 dB.​

Design
The SCAR 17 is wrapped into a robust milled aluminum chassis. The sporty Armor Cap adds personality to the system. Subtle cut-outs and icons adorn the exterior and add intrigue to the bottom of the laptop. A lightbar adds a bit of glow and is configurable with Aura Sync. Paired with the RGB backlit keyboard, you can set up your own unique gaming look.

Windows 11
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps. The Pro version of Windows 11 includes all the features that Windows 11 Home offers plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access.
